Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers

Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company

Load and unload goods from the vehicle by manual lifting

Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner and in accordance with customer requirements

Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor

Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation

Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 50lbs and physical demands of the job

Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional manner

Familiarity with courier or delivery services is a plus but will receive training regardless.

Qualifications:

Delivery driver experience preferred

Ability to provide excellent customer service

Proficiency in driving box trucks preferred

Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks up to 50lbs

Experience in route driving and load/unload procedures preferred
