Construction Billing Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will review financial statements and reports to identify and resolve payment inconsistencies or errors. You will collaborate with customers, third‑party institutions, and team members to address billing issues and ensure accurate invoicing. Your responsibilities will also include inputting payment history and financial data into individual accounts, assisting customers with payment processes, and keeping them informed of payment deadlines. Additionally, you will calculate and track various company financial statements. Responsibilities
Review financial statements and reports for payment inconsistencies or errors. Collaborate with customers, third‑party institutions, and team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors. Create invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to customers. Input payment history, upcoming payment information, or other financial data into individual accounts. Assist customers with payment assistance. Inform customers of any missed or upcoming payment deadlines. Calculate and track various company financial statements. Essential Skills
Experience in the construction industry, specifically in billing for construction companies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for data entry. High attention to detail. 1–3 years of relevant experience, but no more than 5 years. Detail‑oriented and logical mindset. Strong communication skills, particularly for remote collaboration using Teams. Comfortable with data collection, data entry, and managing purchase orders, invoices, and bills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in reporting is a plus. Work Environment
This role requires onsite work with a flexible start time between 7/8 am and end time between 4:30/5 pm. Team members typically do not arrive before 7 am or leave before 4 pm. There is a one‑hour lunch break. You will be part of a team of three, working alongside the Finance Manager and two others working on different projects. Collaboration with the finance person overseeing all Alabama projects is essential. The position supports the large Meta Data Center in Montgomery, Alabama, offering growth opportunities and upward mobility within one of the largest US construction companies. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00–$28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
