Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE)
Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), a Ralliant Corporation operating company, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE) to join our Arizona and California manufacturing teams.
A Quality Engineer is a crucial member of the manufacturing team responsible for ensuring products meet industry standards, customer expectations, and legal requirements. They design and implement quality control systems, develop and conduct tests, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions. Quality Engineers also conduct audits of manufacturing processes and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures that products meet quality standards and customer requirements
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products
Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve product design and manufacturing processes
Educate and train employees in quality standards and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation plans
Maintain quality documentation and records
Monitor and audit supplier quality
Continuously improve quality systems and processes
Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
3‑5 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge and/or certification in J‑STD‑001 and IPC‑610
Experience working with suppliers

Bonus or Equity This position is eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range Local currency salary range: 81,200.00 – 150,800.00.
ITAR Consideration The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations. Candidates must be U.S. Persons (citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals) or must be prepared to obtain the necessary U.S. government export authorizations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon securing the proper government export authorizations.
