Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and cost.
Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the bid process.
Perform quantity takeoffs, evaluate proposals, and support bid presentations.
Ensure estimates align with project goals, budget requirements, and timelines.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of estimating experience within commercial construction.
Houston market experience strongly preferred due to local subcontractor and cost knowledge.
Experience estimating commercial projects in sectors such as K-12, municipal, industrial, healthcare, or office.
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
