FULL TIME REMOTE

Position: Amazon FBA and Inventory & Logistics Expert Type of contract: Independent contractor Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm US ET

A dynamic and innovative e-commerce agency specialising in helping brands succeed on Amazon. They provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each brand's unique needs, maximising their presence and profitability on the world's largest online marketplace.

We're looking for an experienced Amazon FBA and Inventory & Logistics Expert to oversee and manage the entire inventory lifecycle across Amazon marketplaces. This role focuses on FBA replenishment, demand forecasting, logistics coordination, and maintaining optimal inventory health. You'll collaborate closely with brand managers, Amazon Account Specialists, and external suppliers to ensure efficient operations and prevent stockouts or overstock issues.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Monitor and manage FBA inventory levels across all marketplaces (US, CA, UK, EU, etc.).
  • Create and manage Amazon FBA shipments (SPD and LTL), and reconcile receiving issues.
  • Track and analyze stock levels using Amazon Seller Central, Restock Reports, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Generate inventory forecasts based on sales velocity, promotions, seasonality, and lead times.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses, 3PLs, and Amazon FCs.

Logistics & Fulfillment Coordination

  • Collaborate with 3PLs, suppliers, and freight forwarders to manage inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Ensure timely shipping and accurate documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, carton labels, etc.).
  • Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, stranded inventory, and Amazon FC issues.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting dashboards for internal and client use.
  • Track and improve IPI scores through proactive inventory management.
  • Audit stranded, unfulfillable, defective, and aged inventory and take corrective action.

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Act as a logistics and FBA operations consultant to Account Managers and clients.
  • Join client calls to present operational updates and improvement plans.
  • Provide documentation or training to internal team members as needed.
