Our client, Galaxy Infotech INC, is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer. This position requires in‑person interviews in Dallas for the first round and is open only to candidates located in Texas.
Location Dallas, TX
Responsibilities
Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including configuration of firewall policies.
Experience with Cisco wireless controllers (WLC) and troubleshooting related tasks.
Troubleshooting VeloCloud deployments.
Handling major incidents (P1/P2), leading bridge calls or escalations.
Lead network operations, providing excellent leadership skills.
Qualifications
12+ years of recent networking experience supporting an enterprise environment.
10+ years designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex WAN/VeloCloud SD‑WAN solutions, including BGP and QoS.
End‑to‑end lifecycle experience (design, configuration, installation, administration) with large‑scale enterprise networks.
Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewall technologies.
Experience with deep‑dive troubleshooting using packet captures, Wireshark, Panorama logs, and VeloCloud analytics.
Hands‑on automation or scripting (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
Experience working in ITIL‑based environments, including RCAs, change reviews, and P1/P2 incident bridge calls.
CCNP certification or equivalent.
Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto (Global infrastructure management, Panorama, Distributed User‑ID, Global Protect).
Wireless experience with Cisco WLC, 802.1x/MAB, and Distributed Flexconnect deployments.
Core Skills
SD‑WAN, Advanced BGP, DMVPN, QoS.
Palo Alto, F5, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, PKI, Zscaler (desirable).
Cisco WLC, 802.1x, MAB, Distributed Flexconnect.
Nexus, VMware vSphere.
