Financial Reporting Manager – Truist Join Truist as a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and distribution of corporate and regulatory financial reports. The role focuses on FR2052a monthly reporting and supports the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership, SEC, FDIC, and FRB.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and manage junior staff in accounting and financial reporting activities.

Ensure timely, accurate preparation and review of internal/external financial reports.

Collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations, and regulatory agencies.

Maintain sound controls, data integrity, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Act as subject‑matter expert on accounting and regulatory reporting for assigned area.

Coordinate with audits, examinations, and risk management processes.

Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and Board.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.

5+ years of relevant accounting or accounting policy experience with GAAP and SEC/regulatory reporting.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build consensus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

CPA credential and experience at a large SEC‑registered financial institution or senior manager‑level public accounting (preferred).

Experience with FR2052a reporting and, ideally, FCCF principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or advanced degree in business or accounting.

Prior experience as an examiner of financial reports for OCC, FRB, or FDIC.

Proficiency with Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or Workiva software.

Work Information Location:

Winston‑Salem, NC

(On‑site, 5 days a week; no remote options). 1st shift. Language fluency: English (Required).
