Copart is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will provide analytical support on corporate development, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
Responsibilities
Provide financial and analytical support for senior leadership and various business unit leaders across the enterprise
Support the Corporate Development team and business stakeholders in all acquisition activities
Proactively review and monitor business performance and provide meaningful, actionable insights
Develop financial forecasts with full integration of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
Monitor business‑driven, quantifiable key performance indicators
Assist in the creation and maintenance of business unit level operational reporting and forecasting
Accurate and timely ad‑hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Requirements
A natural sense of curiosity
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA a strong plus)
Minimum two years of work experience across Financial and Accounting responsibilities
Ability to interact effectively and confidently with all levels of management
Proactive self‑starter capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of urgency
Ability to organize and manage large data sets and apply strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset with a focus on financial model development
Experience with industry‑leading ERP/Financial tools like OneStream, Workday, Workiva, FloQast, or similar
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership skills, including those necessary for effective project and people management
Experience with PowerPoint
Preferred
Multi‑national experience
Experience with Tableau
Experience with SQL
