ROLE OVERVIEW The Lifecycle Marketing Manager leads the strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives that connect fans with the Club at every stage of their journey. Partnering closely with Sales and cross-functional teams, this role delivers personalized, data-driven communications, owns Salesforce Marketing Cloud, manages the Fan Persona project, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Revenue Marketing

Drive ticketing revenue through strategic lifecycle campaigns across email and SMS.

Build and optimize automated journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support all sales products including upsell and renewal opportunities.

Design campaigns that directly support sales pipeline stages, key on-sale moments, Playoffs, and urgency-driven offers.

Support lead generation, nurturing, and conversion with timely, segmented communications.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Ownership

Automate journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud including New Member, Welcome, and Re-engagement campaigns.

Lead the Fan Persona project using SFMC to identify fandom and strategically speak to SDFC fans.

Manage platform roadmap, enhancements, and integrations to support revenue-driving use cases.

Partner with CRM & Sales team to improve data flow, attribution, and automation.

People Management & Execution

Directly manage the Digital Marketing Coordinator, ensuring strong execution of revenue-driving campaigns.

Set priorities, coach performance, and ensure operational excellence across lifecycle initiatives.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Candidates can meet the requirements for this role with a combination of skills, education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

4 years of experience in lifecycle or revenue marketing

3+ years of hands‑on experience in email and/or SMS marketing, ideally in sports, entertainment, or e-commerce.

Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Experience managing direct reports.

Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data, extract insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.

Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a fan‑first approach to communication.

Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Experience with SMS platforms.

Spanish fluency preferred (written and oral).

Strong knowledge of various digital platforms, their unique requirements, and best practices for engagement and growth.

Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt the tone and style for different channels and target audiences.

Experience in creating and executing successful email campaigns.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently.
