System Administrator 3 with Security Clearance
Join Wyetech, LLC as a System Administrator 3 with Security Clearance and work on federal government contracts. You will manage IT system infrastructure, provide support, troubleshoot, and maintain UNIX, Windows, and other operating systems.
Responsibilities
Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain system integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements.
Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform capacity analysis and planning.
Ensure service‑oriented architecture (SOA) interdependencies are understood and maintained.
Analyze and resolve complex problems with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Support system design, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management on escalated tickets.
Qualifications
U.S. citizenship and an Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a system administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (five additional years of SA experience are acceptable).
Quantifiable Linux system administration experience.
Experience with Ansible scripting, Windows system administration, Proxmox, Centrify, Harvester, Rancher, Kubernetes/Docker, and other hyperconverged‑infrastructure solutions (Azure Stack HCI, Cisco HyperFlex, DataCore SANsymphony, Dell VxRail, HPE SimpliVity, Nutanix, NetApp HCI, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting, problem‑resolution, and communication skills.
Benefits
Hourly pay range: $49.25 – $118.30 per hour, varying by rate, education, experience, and location.
