Role Overview The Analyst will play a key role in the Portfolio Valuation & Analytics team, which focuses on portfolio company valuations, portfolio company / fund level analytics, fundraising initiatives, limited partner reporting, investment benchmarking and reporting for the Private Equity business unit, and portfolio company cap table management and reporting. The Analyst will be a significant contributor to the

team to routinely aggregate portfolio company capitalization table information, develop reports and integrated analyses, and develop capitalization table analyses and waterfall models to drive processes and operational improvements.
Responsibilities Equity Management
Maintain portfolio company capitalization table data within the Diligent Equity system by reviewing equity agreements to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Coordinate directly with external law firms to review and reconcile equity documentation to ensure complete and accurate cap table records.
Partner with investment teams to ensure alignment on equity structures, and resolve discrepancies or open questions related to ownership, share classes, and shareholder details.
Support recurring cap table reconciliations and internal audits by validating source documents, tracing historical changes, and ensuring the Diligent Equity and Snowflake/Excel records remain accurate and up to date.
Serve as a central point of contact during equity‑related workflows to ensure complete documentation, timely updates, and consistency across systems and reporting.
Assist in building and maintaining waterfall models for quarterly valuation reporting and intra‑quarter scenario analysis.
Expand PowerBI dashboard development to provide portfolio company and fund‑level ownership metrics.
Support tracking of the portfolio company executives, ensuring records reflect which executives have served across multiple portfolio companies, their roles, tenure, and relevant historical equity participation.
Prepare internal summary reports highlighting executive movement, repeat partnerships, and other patterns within the portfolio company executive ecosystem.
Process Re‑engineering
Execute operational improvements. Coordinate with portfolio support team, finance, and IT to refine capitalization tables and business intelligence processes to improve quality and control of data for reporting and analysis.
Document work streams and offer recommendations on efficiency.
Required Qualifications
BS or BA with a high GPA in Compliance, Legal, Finance, Accounting, or a related major.
1–3 years professional experience in an analytical role, including experience with financial models.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Familiarity with legal and compliance documents (i.e., subscription agreements, limited partnership agreements, equity ownership documents).
Good understanding of finance, accounting and experience with alternative investments a plus.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
Proven history of process engineering and efficiency improvements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with Chronograph, PowerBI, Diligent Equity, and/or investment analytics software a plus.
Competencies
Advanced Excel skills, including complex logic formulas (e.g., combining “IF” formulas with other functions) and advanced lookup combinations (e.g., offset, index, match, sumproduct, indirect).
Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills, with attention to detail and ability to summarize complex ideas to various audiences.
Compensation The base salary range for this position is
$70,000 - $90,000 . The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
