ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Operations Specialist to support our premier client’s Ads Supply Tech team in financial operations across two closely aligned organizations within the Ads ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in enabling advertising supply teams by supporting billing, accounting, and financial close activities while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and Ads stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in billing and accounts receivable, hands‑on QuickBooks and Excel experience, and excellent customer‑facing communication skills. This role requires comfort working in a fast‑paced, highly cross‑functional environment that supports product publishing, promotion, and supply‑related financial processes.
Key Responsibilities Finance Operations & Accounting Support
Support day‑to‑day finance operations for the Ads Supply Tech organization
Assist the Finance and Accounting teams with billing, reconciliations, and close activities
Manage customer billing (Accounts Receivable) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support month‑end and period‑end close activities, including reporting and validation
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Ads & Supply Partnership
Partner with Ads teams responsible for publishing and promoting advertising products
Support supply‑related financial activities, including supply tax considerations
Act as a finance point of contact for Ads stakeholders, helping resolve billing or finance‑related questions
Data, Reporting & Tools
Use Excel to support financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
Track billing status, variances, and exceptions, escalating issues as needed
Ensure financial data accuracy across systems and reports
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal customers and cross‑functional partners
Respond to billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Provide strong customer service while maintaining financial controls and compliance
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations
Hands‑on experience using QuickBooks
Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, tracking, basic analysis)
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Ads, media, or technology teams
Exposure to supply, tax, or revenue‑related finance processes
Prior experience partnering with Finance and Accounting teams in a large organization
