Akkodis is seeking an Aveva Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Candidate must have proven technical lead experience on at least one full lifecycle Aveva Wonderware MES project, with deep knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 and hands-on skills in Aveva System Platform/Historian, SQL, and .NET. Rate Range:
$41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Aveva Technical Lead responsibilities
Lead the design and development of system architectures for IT-OT integration across enterprise, operations, and automation layers. Manage full lifecycle implementation of Aveva Wonderware MES, including Operation, Quality, and Performance modules. Configure and maintain MES environments, ensuring platform readiness and integration with Aveva System Platform, Historian, and Object Integration Server. Develop project documentation such as software requirements and functional specifications, and ensure compliance with ISA-95, ISA-88, and MESA standards. Provide technical leadership to MES development teams, oversee project execution, and drive operational excellence and optimization solutions. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align MES solutions with manufacturing domain requirements and IT-OT connectivity strategies. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred). Minimum 8–10 years in MES design and implementation, with at least one full lifecycle project as a technical lead on Aveva Wonderware MES. Strong hands-on experience with Aveva Wonderware MES modules (Operation, Quality, Performance) and related platforms (System Platform, Historian, Object Integration Server). Deep understanding of IT-OT integration, manufacturing domain processes, and standards like ISA-95, ISA-88, along with proficiency in SQL scripting and .NET programming. $41.00 to $56.00 per hour.
