Data Scientist/Data Engineers
to support the modernization and enhancement of mission-critical data systems within the U.S. Federal Government. This work focuses on developing data science, data engineering, and analytics solutions that drive efficiency, automation, and decision-making across large-scale, high-impact programs. Our teams design and deliver secure, data-driven capabilities that streamline document creation, text processing, automated tagging, and enhanced data dissemination. This includes developing end-to-end pipelines, integrating analytic capabilities, and improving the discoverability and usability of structured and unstructured data within DoD DevSecOps platforms. This position requires a strong understanding of
data architecture, data modeling, ETL processing, and AI/ML techniques , along with hands‑on experience in modern data environments. Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and enhance enterprise data models and standards, including data flow mapping and analysis for improved data delivery. Build and maintain data architectures and pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Identify, document, and ensure alignment of data practices with mission and program requirements. Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and visualization techniques to derive actionable insights. Support the discovery, definition, scoping, development, testing, and integration of AI/ML solutions into workflows, applications, and systems. Develop BI dashboards and visualization tools to communicate insights effectively. Perform data mining, modeling, and mapping to support decision-making and reporting. Develop and manage processes to transform raw structured and unstructured data, ensuring accessibility, security, and usability. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs. Required Skills
Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms and techniques. Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text Analysis. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Experience building and integrating relational and document databases (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB). Programming proficiency with Python, SQL, Scala, R, Databricks, Tableau, Qlik, and Git. Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with DevSecOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) workflows. Strong knowledge of data engineering best practices and data science methodologies.
