Located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, our hotel blends high-energy style with top-tier service, and we're looking for an Engineer I to help keep the show running flawlessly behind the scenes.

Your Mission

As an Engineer I, you'll be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel. Whether it's fixing a leaky faucet, replacing light fixtures, or assisting with larger maintenance projects, you'll be a key player in ensuring every guest experience stays polished and uninterrupted.

What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas

Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and equipment servicing as needed

Complete daily rounds and respond promptly to maintenance requests

Maintain cleanliness and safety in mechanical areas and engineering workspaces

Collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently and professionally

Ensure all work meets brand standards, safety protocols, and compliance requirements

You're a Rockstar If You

Have 1+ year of maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel or commercial building

Are well-versed in general maintenance tools, techniques, and equipment

Take pride in your work and never cut corners safety and quality are your priorities

Stay calm under pressure and can handle multiple tasks with a service-first attitude

Are flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Are proactive, reliable, and ready to learn and grow
