The group you’ll be a part of The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make As a Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for the parts identification team. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. In this role, you will directly contribute to the next evolution of a visual parts identification product. This product receives significant usage from the user base and any improvements will have a meaningful impact for them.

What You’ll Do

Manage parts identification related projects to solve complex business problems.

Immerse yourself in the current business process for creating part identification models that are used within the product. This will require CAD skills and the ability to execute projects to completion.

Build solutions that will improve parts identification business processes and support critical business strategies.

Research industry best practices and communicate with vendors to evaluate what capabilities exist.

Provide actionable insights for management to support decision making through data collection and analysis.

Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.

Ensure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to meet business requirements.

Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process.

Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, other Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.

2+ years of related experience in project management or program management.

Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders.

Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.

Proficiency in CAD Software (NX, Creo, TeamCenter).

This is a graduate eligible role.

Preferred Qualifications

Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in Post‑CAD visualization software.

Demonstrated ability to work within a team.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On‑site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1‑2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $67,000.00 - $132,000.00. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
