Scala Developer – Cloud‑Native Applications & Distributed Systems
We’re looking for a
Scala Developer
to join a high‑impact engineering team building scalable, cloud‑native systems. You’ll work across modern DevOps pipelines, NoSQL data stores, and distributed microservices while contributing to next‑gen APIs and data‑intensive applications.
Pay range:
$135,000.00/yr – $170,000.00/yr
Requirements
6+ years of Scala Development experience required
Build robust, high-performance backend services using Scala
Develop and optimize microservices deployed on Kubernetes in AWS
Work with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases to handle flexible, large-scale data
Containerize applications using Docker, and manage deployments with Helm, Istio, or Argo
Monitor and troubleshoot systems using tools like Datadog or Splunk
Integrate CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
Contribute to and maintain API documentation using Swagger (OpenAPI)
Implement and tune caching layers using Memcached, Kafka, or similar technologies
