About The Opportunity Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent on behalf of a leading electrical contracting firm that delivers high-quality construction projects in Virginia. Our client will pay for relocation.
Position Summary The Electrical Superintendent will lead all field operations for large-scale construction projects, overseeing electrical crews, ensuring code compliance, coordinating with project stakeholders, and maintaining schedules and budgets. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile builds across the state.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise electrical foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors on active projects.
Ensure work meets plans, specifications, and all applicable electrical codes.
Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades.
Oversee project manpower, materials, and production to maintain efficiency.
Implement and maintain company and OSHA safety standards.
Assist with testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or healthcare construction required.
Thorough understanding of NEC, local codes, and construction standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in the region.
