Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope documents related to natural gas pipeline construction and maintenance projects, including pipelines, compressor stations, meter stations, class changes, pipe replacements, and hydrotesting Prepare comprehensive cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor bids, permits, and contingency costs using Excel cost templates Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project management, field teams and vendors to verify quantities and assumptions Participate in estimate review meetings and respond promptly to business development or project management inquiries Maintain detailed documentation of estimating data, assumptions, and revisions for audit and future use Stay current on industry trends, material costs, labor rates, and regulatory changes impacting natural gas infrastructure projects
