Job Description:
EUC Engineering Product Group Tech Lead II (US) manages or leads a team of IT professionals in providing a range of services and solutions to the organization, ensuring enterprise standards are met and business objectives are achieved for own area of specialization. In this role you will shape the user experience and enhance our community’s relationship with the technology they use every day, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iOS/Android), VDI solutions using Citrix and Windows 365.
What You’ll Accomplish Here
Oversee, develop, and build a high-performing team responsible for TD's Computing/End User Computing Device Management Platforms that manage 100k+ devices and hardware platforms, including key technologies like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Azure, Jamf, and Autopilot
Own the strategy development, configuration and overall experience of core platforms and operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, iOS, Android, and Print, with an emphasis on providing stability, increased productivity, security, and an intuitive design that is secure and stable.
Build a strong resilient VDI platform using Citrix and Windows 365 as the core technologies supporting the solution.
Deliver safe and secure core applications including browsers (Chrome, Edge) and partner with application owners to package and distribute theirs
Partner with SecOps teams to measure and increase the security of the environment through baselines, reporting and implementing solutions that minimize risk and provides a secure solution
Develop and execute roadmaps through research and evaluation of emerging technologies and tools to bring the future of computing to TD
Collaborate with other stakeholders, support teams, business units, IT peers and leadership to share your vision and incorporate their feedback and ensure maximal business value creation
Depth & Scope
Leads Technical solutions at the Product Group level
Deep expertise and knowledge of specific domain or broad range of experience in technology domains, including understanding of in-house and third-party architecture integration
Advanced and highly specialized knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, Bank standards, regulatory and compliance standards, and may fulfill a governance role
Expert technical skills and a strong understanding of the team's product; technology and issues
Provides leadership and guidance to several teams across the enterprise and solves cross-department issues
Participates in the development of business strategies
Ensures solutions are consistent with organizational objectives
Utilizes subject matter expertise to introduce new technologies, or new versions of existing technologies, into the organization
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
Graduate degree preferred
10+ years of development and technology delivery experience with Agile Delivery Experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Direct, hands‑on system administration work experience with technologies mentioned above
Relevant experience designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting global enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions
Experience managing large, geographically‑dispersed (both remote and onsite), highly‑technical engineering teams and contractors
Strong analytical, interpersonal, technical, presentation, financial, and project management skills
Strong enterprise technical architecture skills and knowledge
Self‑motivated with strong leadership/ management abilities, ability to think strategically and globally, and influence others.
Ability and desire to inspire change, and rethink and improve present circumstances, processes, and technologies
Direct experience administering and managing collaboration platforms like Exchange Online, Teams, Zoom is a plus
