Position Overview EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC is seeking a senior-level Engineer or Geologist with strong project management experience to support and lead complex environmental engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience providing technical oversight, managing multi-disciplinary project teams, and ensuring high-quality environmental services for clients.
This role requires excellent communication skills, proven success in client relationship development, and a track record of delivering effective negotiation support and dispute resolution. We are seeking someone who values collaboration, takes pride in producing quality work products, and can help expand EA's presence within the Central Business Unit.
Responsibilities
Manage and provide technical support for environmental investigations, remedial designs, and construction projects, including soil remediation, waste containment systems, infrastructure support, alternative covers, and mine reclamation.
Apply extensive knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA regulations and best practices.
Provide strong safety leadership and promote a safety-focused culture.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, guidelines, and quality expectations.
Lead and support the preparation, review, and delivery of technical reports.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and actively manage client relationships.
Develop, expand, and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business.
Collaborate with professionals across EA offices to support client needs.
Contribute to the growth and development of EA's Central Business Unit.
Support and promote EA's culture of delivering high-quality, client-focused work.
Must be able to travel 1-2 times per month, trips typically last 1-3 days
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience, or Master's degree and
12+ years
of experience, in Engineering, Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related scientific field.
PE or PG licensure preferred.
PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
Experience managing large, complex environmental projects; mining and environmental compliance experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to support client needs and develop new clients through effective marketing and proposal development.
Demonstrated success in maintaining long-term client relationships.
Note Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.

Pay Range $140,000—$170,000 USD
The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
