Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure. Leverage extensive expertise in routing, network design, and advanced configurations of Cisco and Fortinet equipment to ensure reliability, security, and scalability. Troubleshoot complex network issues, manage performance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business continuity and technological advancements. Maintain high standards for network architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization.
Required Experience
Routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP for network optimization and troubleshooting. Designing scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures. Experience with Cisco and/or Fortinet routers, switches, firewalls, VPN solutions, and other security appliances. Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in both LAN and WAN environments. Understanding of network security protocols and best practices, including firewall configurations and VPN management. IP addressing schemes, subnets, and IP routing. Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Preferred Experience
Network security solutions, intrusion detection/prevention, and threat mitigation. Knowledge of network automation tools or scripting languages (Python, Ansible, etc.) to streamline operations. Cloud platforms and hybrid network configurations (AWS, Azure, etc.). Familiarity with VoIP technologies and Unified Communications (UC) systems for integrated environments. Wireless network design, configuration, and troubleshooting. Designing networks for high availability and business continuity. QoS configuration and implementation to prioritize traffic for critical applications.
