The Role Full‑time opportunity for a Natural Adabas Developer/Analyst as we continue to grow our Chicago‑based practice. Responsibilities include system analysis, development, and production support as part of a project team; designing functional and technical approaches to create and customize functionality; executing testing, training, user‑testing support, and customer support post‑implementation.
Skills & Role Requirements
8+ years’ Natural Adabas development experience.
Proficiency in developing software solutions using NATURAL/ADABAS development tools in a mainframe environment.
Proficiency in JCL.
Documentation of system enhancements and modifications performed as part of software maintenance/enhancements.
Effective communication with clients.
Facilitation of requirement sessions with the user community.
Translation of requirements into functional specifications for client approval.
Active participation in code reviews to maximize quality, security, and maintainability.
Rapid identification and resolution of complex technical issues with robust solutions.
Preparation of detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written.
Production and implementation support.
Reporting on project status, challenges, and results to stakeholders.
