Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an NS4R Software Developer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA. This role supports SSC within the Joint Terminal Engineering Office (JTEO) as a developer on the National Security SATCOM Systems Synchronization Roadmap (NS4R) software application, which is hosted on Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) MilCloud. The position requires close coordination with DISA to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Maintain the NS4R database, including security upgrades, backup, and configuration control.
Develop and implement enhancements to the NS4R tool and installation of patches for the operating system and database server.
Provide user desk support, manage user accounts, and support troubleshooting.
Assist Level 1 points of contact (POCs) with data entries, identify and correct incomplete or questionable data entries, and manage the NS4R MilCloud Virtual Data Center (Memory/Storage/CPUs).
Train Government and FFRDC personnel on use and maintenance of the NS4R tool and database.

Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance required for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
2+ years of experience with Angular, Java, Microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, and VMware.
Desired Qualifications
5+ years of experience with Angular, Java, Microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, and VMware.
2+ years of experience in SATCOM.
INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification.
Compensation The pay range for this position is $90,000–$113,000 per year in Colorado and $99,000–$123,000 per year in California. Base pay may vary depending on government contract ranges, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors. MTSI offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position offered.
