Responsibilities

Overseeing adherence to credit policies, procedures, and risk assessment methodologies. Evaluating and submitting requests for credit renewals, incremental/supplemental credit requests from clients, including the structuring of financing solutions. Conducting thorough due diligence on counterparty/obligor/issuer creditworthiness. Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions. Collaborating closely with Director, Portfolio Management and VP, Risk Management, to align credit strategies with underwriting guidelines and risk management criteria. Staying abreast of market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk and working with senior risk management personnel to implement suggested revisions to client structures/exposures. Participating in client meetings and negotiations to structure and secure credit transactions. Working closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and business development, to ensure seamless credit processing, risk mitigation, and client communications. Required Skills

Minimum 4‑6 years experience in credit analysis, risk management, and lending, preferably within the financial services (e.g., banks, private credit/lending, distressed debt, insurance). Strong understanding of financial regulations, risk assessment tools, and credit scoring systems. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of making sound credit decisions based on data and market insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including credit analysis and risk management platforms. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; a Master's degree/MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA or FRM) are desirable. 401k Competitive compensation Dynamic environment, working directly with senior management.
