The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our Emergency Department team. This critical role offers the opportunity to provide immediate mental health care to Veterans during a time of crisis in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Triage and perform rapid psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
Collaborate with emergency medicine and an interdisciplinary team to stabilize patient
Coordinate care transitions, including inpatient admission or outpatient treatment
Call coverage: 2-3 weekends a year NO STATE INCOME TAX Student Loan Repayment available Academic opportunity with Nova University available Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Board-certified/board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry
Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
Strong clinical decision-making skills under pressure.
