Encore Fire Protection
Join to apply for the
System Integrity Specialist
role at
Encore Fire Protection .
Naturally outgoing, detail-oriented, and unapologetically persistent are just a few of the words I would use to describe the ideal
System Integrity Specialist .
At Encore Fire Protection, we are proud to be the East Coast's largest full-service fire protection company, serving over 90,000 customers from Maine to Florida. With a team of over 2,400 dedicated employees, we provide innovative, customized fire suppression, fire sprinkler, and fire alarm solutions that protect lives and properties every day. Our goal is to deliver superior experience to those who trust us to safeguard what matters most. We are passionate about continuous growth, innovation, and maintaining a culture that thrives on success and commitment to safety.
The next person we add to our team has to be a proven team-player that can equally work on their own. They have the confidence in details and small intricacies but the ability to also see the bigger picture. They are extremely organized and have notable time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
This is not your typical inside sales role. You will be paired with an outside sales executive. You will spend time in the office working with internal resources to accurately quote, develop proposals, and communicate with customers (on the phone and over email), but the similarities end there.
What You Can Expect
Work with customers to build long standing relationships
Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, to ensure that the customer is getting our unique experience
Be the customers advocate and point of contact for questions and things they need including pointing them in the right direction for any requests
Review past inspection reports to accurately determine system deficiencies and work with customers to quote and service the system
Perform administrative duties such as writing and sending contract renewals, filling out proposals and forms, etc.
This will account for about 70% of your time. The rest of the time you will be encouraged to get out of the office to meet customers face to face, build rapport, and survey life safety equipment so that you can effectively quote and sell contracts.
Requirements
You must have some formal sales experience that extends beyond retail or hospitality. Experience selling a service (as opposed to a tangible product) is a plus.
We are prepared to teach you about alarm and sprinkler systems but you must be ready to commit to learning.
You must be good on the computer. To us, "good" means that you are proficient with the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) without question. In addition, we use HubSpot and an industry specific program called ServiceTrade. Prior working experience with these programs is not a requirement, but you must be prepared to adopt and self‑teach on each of these platforms.
You must be a people person! You have to build great relationships with your customers and be their advocate as well as a voice of reason.
Salary commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role. Expected salary range between $60,000 - $80,000.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: Compensation commensurate with your experience, with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses tied to your personal effectiveness and contributions to the team.
Purpose-Driven Work Environment: We believe in working smarter, not harder. You’ll be part of a culture that values results, and we empower our team to focus on impactful work.
Flexible Dress Code: Upon joining, you’ll receive branded Encore gear and we believe in dressing for the objective, not the occasion. Most days, you can enjoy a casual work environment, but we’ll dress up when the situation calls for it.
Innovative Culture: We encourage a culture of experimentation and improvement. You’ll have the freedom to express your ideas and be part of a company that is always looking to improve and grow.
Tools for Success: Access to leading-edge web-based productivity tools.
Health and Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage through Blue Cross to keep you and your family healthy.
Retirement Planning: Participation in our Fidelity 401(k) plan with a company match, helping you save for your future.
Life Insurance: Company-paid life insurance policy of $50,000 to give you peace of mind.
