Fleet Support Specialist
HireArt is helping an on‑demand, autonomous ride‑hailing company hire a Fleet Support Specialist to support scheduling, metrics, documentation and dashboard updates of its vehicle fleet.
In this role, you will assist tracking current and historical fleet health and maintain constant situational awareness of fleet status. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the smooth handoff of hardware and software from development to operations.
We’re looking for someone that has 1–2 years of experience working in a fast‑paced service environment. Ideally you are familiar with automotive repair processes and fundamentals.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the scheduling team to secure repair slots and optimize vehicle repair time.
Review open vehicle issues and generate action plans, ensuring constant monitoring and updates on fleet health.
Maintain accurate historical data and record‑keeping for vehicle health and repairs.
Assist in the creation and development of technical documentation and processes.
Support the creation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on fleet performance and maintenance.
Close the loop on repair feedback to drive improvements in product design and operations.
Perform quality inspections of repair orders to ensure compliance with company standards.
Support in ordering parts, ensuring parts availability for scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
Interface with multiple teams across the company to align processes and operations for smooth workflow.
Conduct monthly shop safety inspections, submitting the results via a Google form to the EHS team.
Work across multiple internal systems and ticketing tools to create work orders, track maintenance activities, manage parts requests, and ensure end‑to‑end traceability from issue identification through resolution.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in a rapid‑paced service environment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Willingness to comply with the company’s Substance Abuse Policy
Familiarity with automotive repair processes and fundamentals
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%)
Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Hands‑on experience creating and managing tickets, work orders, or maintenance records in systems such as Jira, SAP, or similar operational tools
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Prior experience in an automotive or fleet service environment
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to respond quickly across multiple communication channels
