Network Integration Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Network Integration Engineer for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead complex wireless network integration projects across enterprise and campus environments.
Rate Range $70 per hour to $75 per hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise-scale wireless networks, ensuring seamless integration with backbone infrastructure (routing, switching, SD-WAN).
Lead large-scale network integration projects from planning through deployment and optimization.
Configure and troubleshoot wireless technologies and protocols, including Wi-Fi 6, 802.11ax/ac/n, and RF design principles.
Integrate Aruba wireless solutions with ClearPass for secure authentication and access control.
Apply network security best practices, ideally leveraging Palo Alto Networks platforms.
Drive automation initiatives using CI/CD pipelines and explore AI/ML models to enhance network performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 10+ years of experience in networking environments with a focus on wireless network design and integration.
Expertise in wireless technologies and protocols (Wi-Fi 6, 802.11ax/ac/n) and experience with Aruba solutions and ClearPass integration.
Strong knowledge of network security best practices, ideally with Palo Alto Networks platforms, and experience integrating backbone infrastructure (routing, switching, SD-WAN) with wireless networks.
