System Administrator Lead
to support a company focused on security systems within the DoD. This position is
on-site in McLean, VA . The
System Administrator Lead
will lead a team managing enterprise IT systems and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards. Join a mission-driven team delivering secure, efficient IT solutions for critical government programs.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of system administrators supporting enterprise IT systems.
Manage escalated incidents, patching, and configuration oversight.
Implement DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Provide O&M support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and Special Access Systems.
Oversee VDI infrastructure, server virtualization, SQL databases, and SAN storage.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in Microsoft System Administration and 4+ years leading similar tasks.
Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policies, SCCM, PKI infrastructure, VDI, and server virtualization technologies.
Ability to implement security configurations for Windows Server/Windows 10.
Certifications: IAT Level II, VCP, and MCSE Core Infrastructure or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Compensation
Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000 depending on experience.
