Position Summary The Advisor Relations Director cultivates meaningful partnerships with professional advisors – financial, legal, and estate planning – to deliver impactful giving strategies, maximize charitable contributions and foster a deep sense of fulfillment for their clients. This role advances the philanthropic reach of current and prospective fundholders of both the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation (DJCF) and the Southwest Community Foundation (SWCF) through relationship management, education, and strategic outreach. The Foundation is widely respected within the advisor community for convening high‑quality, peer‑learning opportunities that deepen expertise, strengthen networks, and grow community impact.

In addition to managing a portfolio of fundholders (primarily sourced through the Foundation’s advisor network), the Director oversees, markets, and executes the Foundation’s flagship advisor programs:

Key Advisor Programs

Professional Advisory Committee

(PAC): Provides strategic direction and oversight of the foundation’s work within the professional advisor community of North Texas.

Annual Professional Advisors Seminar : For three decades, this annual event has offered advisors leading insights on charitable and estate planning.

Quarterly Advisor Roundtables: E ducational luncheons for seminar sponsors, encouraging peer‑led learning and networking.

Bringing Philanthropy Home : With leadership and execution by Philanthropy Offerings, this legacy planning course is designed to sustain community organizations and encourage citizens to bring their legacy home to their family and community.

This position collaborates across departments and with volunteer leadership to advance the Foundation’s mission. No direct supervisory responsibilities.
