Fabricator

This role involves the engineering and manufacturing of steam generation and gas turbine co-generation equipment. The position requires the layout, fitting, and welding from blueprints, covering a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping built to A.S.M.E. boiler codes and weld procedures, as well as meeting customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and weld from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping.
• Perform code piping, fit, and weld interconnecting runs for assembly in the field.
• Code welding of boiler tubes to pressure parts.
• Conduct TIG and MIG welding work, depending on skills and level of expertise.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in TIG and/or Flux Core welding.
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test.
• Experience with pipe welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strongly prefer a Tech School Degree in Welding.
• Experience in TIG welding on pipe.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
