Located in Byron Center, Michigan, Little Fliers is a licensed childcare center seeking a self‑motivated, energetic leader passionate about early childhood education.

Description Lead the center, ensuring day‑to‑day operations align with our early childhood philosophy and guide staff to excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education or child development.

Or Bachelor's degree or higher in a child‑related field with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience.

Or Montessori credential with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience.

Shift & Compensation Flexible schedule to support daily operations and community events, on‑site Monday‑Friday arriving no later than 9 am. Pay: $60,000 – $65,000 per year, based on education and experience.

Job offer

Main Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day center operations in line with our early childhood philosophy.

Partner with the recruiting team to identify, interview, onboard, and schedule quality staff.

Serve as a sales advocate, driving enrollment through tours, marketing, and community engagement.

Develop and execute a monthly engagement and marketing plan to increase enrollment.

Build strong relationships with prospective and current families, serving as a resource.

Prepare and maintain narrative and statistical reports, records, and files, and compose correspondence.

Develop and train staff via observations, coaching, and embedded professional development.

Be flexible in role and cover absent staff duties as needed.

Physical abilities: work with small children, sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs, lift up to 40 lb.
