This role supports the AWS Environmental global programs team, managing environmental requirements and risk from site selection through decommissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development, integration, and enhancements of Smartsheet solutions for environmental due diligence, permitting, design, and construction tracking.
Design and develop monitoring and tracking systems using advanced analytics for environmental metrics, including risk, permitting delivery, and construction risks.
Build and implement predictive analytics models to forecast potential environmental risks and automate risk assessment processes.
Create intelligent data pipelines and real‑time monitoring dashboards to transform compliance data into actionable insights.
Lead integration of Smartsheet solutions with existing EHS software systems and data architectures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into digital solutions and optimize Smartsheet solutions for automated reporting.
Drive continual scalable improvement of digital tools and systems to meet business, customer, stakeholder, and partner needs.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
5‑7+ years of experience with environmental health & safety management software development or analytics, and post‑internship software implementation experience.
Experience developing Smartsheet platform modules.
Implementation experience with EHS software such as Enablon, Cority, Intelex, and a proven track record implementing predictive analytics in environmental management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, deployment processes and timelines.
Experience with analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI).
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Track record of successfully implementing Smartsheet projects from conception to production.
Experience developing and deploying EHS applications, particularly in compliance monitoring and risk assessment.
Strong background in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

Compensation Base pay ranges from $98,700/year to $210,800/year, depending on geographic location. Additional equity, sign‑on payments, and benefits may be included.
