Executive Chef – Redwood City, CA Salary: $85,000-$95,000 annually

As part of our leadership and professional support team, you will help our 16,000 chefs and in‑unit associates deliver world‑class meals in corporate cafes, executive dining rooms and through on‑site catering and vending innovations.

Job Summary:

As Executive Chef, you will supervise kitchen operations, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and oversee meal preparation in line with corporate programs and guidelines. This role requires an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional with experience in B‑I or Fine Dining and a background in Asian and Indian cuisines.

Plan regular and modified menus per company guidelines.

Follow standardized recipes and portioning, complete production worksheets and waste logs, and taste finished meals for quality.

Train kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, equipment operation, and sanitation following company and regulatory standards.

Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.

Maintain inventory of food and non‑food supplies within established guidelines.

Make decisions on the use of leftover food in compliance with company policies.

Comply with federal, state, local health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.

Adhere to facility, department, and company safety policies, including incident reporting.

Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs.

A.S. or equivalent experience.

B‑I or Fine Dining experience required.

Asian and Indian cuisine experience strongly preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.

Extensive catering experience a plus.

High‑volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable.

Institutional and batch cooking experience.

Hands‑on chef experience required.

Comprehensive knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, food‑cost control, and presentation.

Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Email, Internet.

ServSafe certification highly desirable.
