Job Summary The primary purpose of this position is to exercise second level supervisory authorities over a Child Development Center program by planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations. The early childhood education program is designed to promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guidance
If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at: https://afciviliancareers.com/regulatory/

Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in the field of child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position.
Must complete physical examination and required immunizations for childcare programs in accordance with guidance from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
May be required to serve a probationary period.
This position is a child care/youth services position subject to background checks in accordance with Public Law (PL) 101-647. This is a condition of employment.
