About The Role We’re looking for an Operations Associate to drive expansion and bring‑up of new deployment sites. This role will primarily focus on developing our public presence at community events and expos. You will report to the Expansion & Analytics Manager in our DoorDash Labs organization and work with stakeholders including the Mapping Team, Real Estate Team, Engineering (hardware and software), and Policy Team to guide commercial expansion and deployment.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
Identify target commercial geos and build out and manage the data collection pipeline
Travel to key geos of interest, lead product demonstrations, attend community events, and establish connections with the general public
Oversee logistics and coordination of getting a Labs robot to and from key events
Work closely with key stakeholders to drive project expansion and maintain city partnerships
Use data dashboards to inform geo‑expansion strategy and new areas of opportunity
Utilize Linux terminal to generate data collection routes
Meet with local jurisdictions to answer key operational questions and organize product demos and community engagement events
We’re Excited About You Because…
2 years of autonomous operations experience or strong interest in the space
Prior experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or map data collection
Comfortable with local municipality‑facing tasks and communication
Comfortable with traveling and attending events in various cities
Experience with Linux, Sigma, Jira, GIS and other tools
Compensation Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
Pay range: $67,300–$113,000 USD

Paid Time Off Details
For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (≈6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; ≈3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (≈5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; ≈2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
