Our Cultural Resources Team in Seattle has an opportunity for a talented Cultural Resources Project Manager. Explore this opportunity with Psomas and apply today! As a Cultural Resources Project Manager, you will utilize your expertise for taking projects from initiation through completion. This will include directing archaeological survey, site recording, testing, data recovery, and construction monitoring; as well as conducting record searches, preparing site record forms, writing reports, and preparing project documentation. This full-time position may require travel out of town/state. Work hours and availability vary by project and weather conditions, and night and weekend shifts may be required. Responsibility Highlights for our Cultural Resources Project Manager

Independently manage and deliver cultural resources assessments from start to finish in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Develop scopes of work, budgets, and invoices for projects of varying scales and complexity. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to integrate cultural resources work products into comprehensive technical reports and support environmental analyses and permit compliance. Direct archaeological surveys, monitoring, and resource documentation; conduct archival research and develop historic and cultural contexts, evaluations, and impacts analyses meeting NEPA/SEPA, Section 106, and Executive Order 21-02 requirements. Supervise project teams, provide technical guidance to field staff, mentor junior staff, and operate with a high degree of autonomy. Lead and participate in client meetings; coordinate effectively with construction crews and tribal representatives. Minimum Qualifications to be our Cultural Resources Project Manager

Graduate degree in archaeology, geoarchaeology, or closely related field with Secretary of Interior (SOI) qualifications; demonstrated expertise in NEPA/SEPA, Section 106, and Executive Order 21-02 compliance; experience conducting WISAARD records searches. Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to produce well‑written, technically supported cultural resources documents complemented by proven project management abilities including scheduling, budget oversight, organization, and on‑time delivery of high‑quality work products. Proven ability to lead archaeological survey, testing, and data recovery projects including documentation, evaluation, and treatment of Native American and historic‑period archaeological resources. Demonstrated client service and agency coordination experience; ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff members; strong problem‑solving skills. Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major/repeated violations in the past five years); ability to travel daily to job sites including remote, rugged terrain requiring 4x4 driving. Preferred Qualifications for our Cultural Resources Project Manager
