Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Position Summary The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative and operational leader of the Center and works in close partnership with the Board of Directors. This role is responsible for program oversight, staff leadership, financial management, regulatory compliance, fundraising, and community engagement. The Executive Director is expected to be actively involved in day‑to‑day operations and on‑site in accordance with Virginia licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead organizational planning, budgeting, and daily operations in collaboration with the Board
Ensure ongoing compliance with all Virginia licensing, regulatory, and safety requirements
Oversee program quality for adult and child day services
Recruit, supervise, evaluate, and support staff
Develop and implement fundraising, marketing, and community outreach strategies
Prepare and present operational, financial, and program performance reports to the Board
Build and maintain strong community partnerships and stakeholder relationships
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services, healthcare administration, social work, education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience working with children, older adults, and/or individuals with differing abilities.
Demonstrated supervisory, administrative, and financial management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Regulatory & Employment Requirements
Must meet all Virginia licensure and qualification requirements for an Adult and Child Day Care Center Director
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Willingness to complete required annual professional development and training in accordance with Virginia regulations
