The Regulatory Reporting Transaction Testing Senior Analyst supports accounting and financial reporting by planning, executing, and reporting transaction testing to ensure accurate regulatory reports.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute detailed transaction testing across products and systems to validate data feeding into regulatory reports.

Trace transactions from reported values to points of origin to ensure accuracy and consistency with source documentation.

Develop tailored testing methodologies aligned to regulatory reporting processes and underlying transaction data.

Design and prepare transaction testing review reports summarizing the approach, testing methodology and outcomes inclusive of findings.

Stay abreast of changes in banking regulations to ensure testing aligns with current mandates.

Independently handle projects and drive solutions across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related discipline preferred; bachelor’s degree required.

5-7 years of experience in regulatory reporting, audit, compliance or risk management within banking or financial services industry.

Experience in transaction testing, data validation and analysis.

Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and knowledge of database systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timeframes and adapt to frequent change.

Benefits Competitive salary range: $56,250 – $97,500 annually. Santander provides benefits including health, retirement, and paid time off.
