Onsite near Johnson City, TN – Client open to relocation for those outside of TN.
Our client is a privately held, high-integrity contract manufacturer of complex electronic assemblies that power mission‑critical systems across aerospace, defense, energy, transportation, medical, communications, and other industrial markets. With decades of consistent profitability, world‑class quality certifications, and new investment backing, the organization is entering a pivotal growth phase. They are searching for a hands‑on President who will scale the enterprise, expand market share, and cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and shared success. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Craft and execute a multi‑year growth strategy that accelerates revenue, margin, and market reach.
Champion high‑impact commercial programs to deepen existing relationships and win new strategic accounts.
Operational Excellence
Own the P&L, setting clear targets around delivery, quality, cost, and cash.
Implement scalable systems, KPIs, and continuous‑improvement tools that increase throughput and consistency.
People & Culture
Optimize the senior leadership team, retain top performers, and close talent gaps with high‑character hires.
Foster a culture rooted in clarity, alignment, and accountability—where every team member understands how their work drives results.
Growth & M&A
Partner with the parent investment group on capital planning and selective acquisitions that expand capabilities and diversify end‑markets.
Share best practices across sister companies to create portfolio‑wide leverage and value creation.
Ideal Candidate
Proven history of full P&L ownership in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or similarly complex industrial operations.
Blend of big‑picture strategy and in‑the‑details execution—able to zoom from board‑level vision to factory‑floor reality.
Experienced in regulated environments (ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR or similar) with a passion for process discipline.
Demonstrated success professionalizing organizations through systems, metrics, and team development.
Familiarity with buy‑and‑build or multi‑site integration environments is a strong plus.
