Job Description As a Product Manager in OCI O&M, you will:

Use your expertise in full stack observability and IT operations (e.g., log analytics, systems, database, and application management) to collaborate across engineering, marketing and customers, delivering innovative cloud offerings for Oracle clients.

Lead development and define product specifications and strategy for next‑generation observability and management cloud services.

Act as the central resource and driving force for product design, process, manufacturing, testing, quality and marketing initiatives—from concept through launch.

Coordinate interdepartmental efforts to ensure project/product delivery on schedule and within budget.

Specify, design and implement major software architecture enhancements.

Define project requirements and manage execution of unit test plans; review QA integration and regression test strategies; ensure consistency, testability and portability across solutions.

Provide leadership and technical direction in the development of new products, services or processes—frequently operating at the forefront of technology.

Recommend and justify significant changes or improvements to products, services or processes.

Responsibilities

Develop overall product strategy based on customer requirements, industry trends and competitive analysis that aligns with the overall strategy of OCI O&M.

Develop product roadmap by collaborating with engineering, marketing and other stakeholders that addresses pressing customer requirements.

Lead the complete product development life cycle in an agile environment from developing use cases to product delivery. Collaborate with engineering, functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

Enable internal field sales and support organizations for new releases or product launches through content development and training.

Plan and execute product announcements, and help coordinate beta testing of our technologies.

Drive internal and external adoption of our technologies.

Help build, coordinate and maintain relationships with key customers.

Preferred Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years combined experience in product management, or product development with 2‑3 years in product management.

Experience on production‑class systems or products that operate at large scale.

Experience with Big Data, IaaS and PaaS technologies, middleware and distributed systems management technologies strongly desired.

Experience with data management products and technologies is a plus.

Prior experience in cloud operations management, and/or system management on enterprise‑scale software systems or SaaS products is a plus.

Experience with virtualization and container technologies is a huge plus.

Experience and technical knowledge on Big Data, cloud platforms and/or enterprise middleware products is a big plus.

Experience with agile software development processes including user‑story‑centered product management.

Demonstrated ability to drive product innovation and build new industry‑leading products or cloud services.

Passion to build outstanding products.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills. You should be comfortable presenting to C‑level executives, research analysts and speaking at major conferences.

Compensation & Benefits US: Hiring Range in USD from: $74,700 - $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position.
