is inviting applications for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children. The position involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to pediatric and adult patients, collaborating with a board‑certified emergency medicine team, and eventually assuming charge nurse responsibilities.

Location: Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children
Work Schedule: Rotating – 12‑hour shifts

Pay Range: $53.17 – $70.89 per hour
Category: Nursing
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. Assist the charge nurse, manage patient flow, and coordinate with specialists for referrals. Attend to patients in the pediatric emergency department and the only pediatric ER in Hawai‘i, ensuring timely and compassionate care.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS CPR cards issued by the American Heart Association.
At least one (1) year of recent RN experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of recent RN experience in an Emergency Department.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Pediatric Emergency Room or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.
