About This Position As the Director of Engineering Operations, you will oversee global engineering operations, leading Site Reliability and Engineering teams.

You will manage on‑call teams, coordinate incident response, drive operational reviews, and influence product improvements from an operational perspective.

What you’ll do:

Develop and execute Procore’s global operations strategy while communicating with executive leadership.

Deliver and operate an effective incident management framework, leading global response and establishing world‑class standards and communication protocols.

Identify and mitigate operational risks.

Build and manage a high‑performance SRE team, setting performance goals and ensuring systems meet or exceed benchmarks.

Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruptions.

Ensure compliance with policies including disaster recovery, change management, security protocols, audit compliance, and support.

Manage teams responsible for maintenance and operation of Procore FedRAMP‑authorized systems and environments.

Collaborate with internal teams such as customer relations, legal, quality, product and engineering, and senior leadership.

Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost‑effectiveness.

What we're looking for:

10+ years of enterprise‑grade production operations experience with world‑class 24×7 incident management policies and procedures in SaaS or high‑volume transactional environments serving millions of users.

7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering toolchains to drive excellence across a diverse tech landscape.

Experience with global follow‑the‑sun engineering response procedures and executive‑level customer communication.

Data‑driven leadership in creating frameworks, templates, processes, and cadences that facilitate decision‑making, including metrics, dashboards, and ITIL best practices to reduce MTTD and MTTR.

Experience building and facilitating enterprise‑grade disaster recovery policies and procedures.

Licenses/Certificates/Designations relevant to technical expertise.

A deep understanding of SDLC and product management best practices such as lean product management, Agile Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD, etc.

Additional Information Base Pay Range: $180,000.00–$200,000.00. This role may also be eligible for equity compensation.
