Responsibilities:
Managing Cisco switching, routing, firewalls, load balancing, wireless, DNS, NTP, Windows and Linux server administration, authentication platforms such as Cisco ISE, TACACS, and OOB console switches.
Managing the cloud environments in OCI and MS Azure.
Experience with current WAN and LAN network standards and security best practices.
Experience with Cisco hardware platforms such as Catalyst 9000, Cisco ACI, Cisco ASR, F5 Big IP LTM/GTM/APM, Cisco FTD/FMC, and Illumio Core.
Ability to manage structured wiring, both copper and fiber optic.
Expertise with controller based wireless network standards and best practices, and the ability to monitor and troubleshoot these networks.
Basic scripting techniques and the ability to automate processes to implement and manage the network environment effectively.
Experience with support and implementation of Site to Site, SSL, and IPsec VPN remote access.
Experience with network management, alerting, and reporting tools such as Cisco FMC, Solarwinds NPM/NCM, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Stealthwatch.
Experience with network protocol analysis tools such as wireshark and NetScout Ngenius.
Utilize Service Now for service request and incident handling, change management, and vulnerability management.
Specific tools/technologies: EIGRP, BGP, BFD, route manipulation, VSS, VPC, RSTP, GETVPN, IOSXE, NxOS, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, 5520/9800 wireless controllers, TACACS/RADIUS, syslog, netflow.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience is required.
5+ years of experience in large campus environment is preferred.
Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Azure network engineer associate are preferred.
