Amazon’s Finance Transformation team combines data‑driven finance with AI to drive accuracy, next‑generation forecasting capabilities, speed, efficiency, and reliability. This agent‑first team will architect finance applications, automate deck generation, predict outcomes, streamline financial workflows, and deliver ML‑ops for existing engineering pipelines on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
Own components of an integrated system using AI builder tools, AWS, and serverless infrastructure.
Design, develop, and deploy secure data‑management services that store and use financial data with the highest privacy standards.
Collaborate with senior developers to deliver front‑end and back‑end solutions with GenAI‑assisted build tools, generating and optimizing code, building tests, serving APIs, automating ML and stat‑training pipelines, and orchestrating continuous evaluation and model training.
Use GenAI‑assisted tools (e.g., Amazon Q Developer, Model Context Protocol, large language models) throughout the software‑development lifecycle—from requirements to coding and testing.
Work with core languages and AWS services (Java, JavaScript, Python, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and others) to build low‑latency solutions and evaluate new technologies.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
Programming in at least one language.
Experience with full software‑development life cycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
1+ year of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ year of object‑oriented design experience.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred
3+ years of full software‑development life cycle experience.
Additional experience in multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications.
