Senior Manager, AI & Automation (Assurance & Consulting) leads the design, delivery, and adoption of automation and AI solutions that transform how our firm delivers audit and advisory services.
The role places a primary emphasis on Assurance, leveraging deep domain experience in audit, risk, and engagement delivery. The position also supports Consulting initiatives across both Managed Services and traditional consulting practices.
Key responsibilities include leading a distributed development team, acting as Product Owner and Delivery Lead, translating workflows into clear user stories, prototyping solutions, collaborating with architecture and data teams, building vendor relationships, presenting roadmaps to executive stakeholders, partnering with service-line leaders to prioritize ROI, overseeing QA and deployment, championing adoption through communication and training, and staying current on emerging technologies.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field; 6–8 years experience in Assurance, Consulting, or Risk within a large accounting firm; 3–4 years leading technology projects with hands‑on solution design; proven experience managing distributed offshore teams; strong understanding of automation and AI technologies such as RPA, Python, GenAI, Databricks, LangChain, JavaScript, or workflow tools; experienced in leveraging AI-based code tools to produce proof of concepts; a GitHub repository displaying side projects and self‑study courses on AI and software development; skilled in agile delivery; experience evaluating vendors and managing external partnerships; excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
