Akkodis is seeking a
Software Quality Engineer II
for a
Contract
with a client in
Waltham, MA . You will design and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality and compliance in cardiac electrophysiology software.
Rate Range:
$50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality and ensure compliance in the Electrophysiology domain.
Create and maintain automated test scripts, debug issues in scripts and frameworks, and execute automation runs for JIRA items.
Document test results, prepare test reports and log bugs/enhancements in a tracking system.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including software development, hardware engineering, and field support to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Participate in Agile Scrum activities such as daily stand‑ups, product reviews, and bug triage meetings.
Assist in defining test methodology, strategy, and data setup, while ensuring compliance with ISO and FDA standards for medical devices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, biomedical engineering or related field (master’s preferred).
Minimum 3+ years of software testing experience with a Bachelor’s or 1+ years with a master’s degree.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Squish in a Linux environment.
Hands‑on experience in Agile Scrum development, source code management tools (Git/BitBucket), and excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Pay Details:
$50.00 to $55.00 per hour
