Position Overview And Responsibilities
Assure residents feel loved from first point of contact through the entire lifecycle.
Sell available homes quickly to limit vacancy loss at the highest net rent.
Market the property, prepare lease documents, and screen prospective residents.
Coordinate welcoming new residents and guests.
Assist with office management and clerical tasks.
Maintain leasing data in property management software.
Complete opening and closing procedures.
Process lease applications, verify information, and inform applicants of results.
Inform maintenance team of needs for repair or cleaning.
Maintain and store documentation effectively.
Respond to residents and guests’ questions and concerns.
Advertise available homes and conduct property tours.
Maintain availability list and status report; determine termination dates of lease rentals.
Conduct market analysis and prepare market surveys.
Prepare leasing activity reports and market survey reports for corporate and ownership groups.
Make follow‑up calls to all qualified unclosed traffic within 24 hours.
Assist Marketing Department with resident functions and newsletters.
Accept rent payments, security deposits, and other applicable fees.
Follow all local, city and federal regulations.
Maintain compliance with Fair Housing requirements and all applicable laws.
Assist in conducting market surveys and shop competitive communities.
Perform other related duties and assignments as needed.

Establish rapport with residents and guests.
Coordinate daily leasing responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
Record and update details of prospective and current residents.
Maintain compliance with Fair Housing and all applicable laws.
Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Minimum of one year of customer service experience and one year of apartment leasing experience (lease‑up preferred) or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of established leasing practices and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to support and contribute to a community team.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Great time‑management skills.
Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.
Willingness to participate in training to comply with new or existing laws.
Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Minimum Education Required High School/GED
