NRDC is a non‑profit environmental advocacy organization. We use law, science and the support of 3.1 million members and online activists to protect the planet’s wildlife and wild places and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water and healthy communities. Founded in 1970, NRDC helped write some of America’s bedrock environmental laws, including the Clean Water Act and many of its implementing regulations. Today, our team of more than 700 lawyers, scientists, economists, policy advocates, communications experts and others works across the United States and globally from offices in Beijing, Chicago, New Delhi, New York, San Francisco, Santa Monica and Washington, D.C.

NRDC is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to work with the Finance team in any of our U.S. based offices.

Position Summary The Financial Systems Analyst will support the co‑implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as our finance and accounting system and Coupa as our business spend management system over the next 12 months. The analyst will support leadership in making key decisions on system design, features and segmentation with respect to the financial accounting systems and will serve as a critical liaison between key project stakeholders and the external implementation partner, ensuring that business needs are met and systems are delivered to spec, on time and within scope. The role will also document business processes, create functional/technical design documentation, develop user guides and conduct training sessions to aid adoption.

Beyond the system implementation, the analyst will continue to support the organisation’s long‑term digital transformation strategy by maintaining integrations, supporting system governance, managing financial configuration updates, assisting with system administration, providing systems support to end‑users and supporting ongoing enhancements across NRDC’s financial systems ecosystem.
